Skirt that constitutes the skirt and blouse ensemble created for the International Dateline Collection I, shown in New York on November 17th 1970, inspired by Maria Bonita and Lampião references. According to Hildegard Angel, the collection became folk/allegoric with the following accessories: leather strap cartridge belts with eyelets, jugs made out of coconuts – an allusion to Brazilian regionalism. Without the accessories, these can be worn on a regular day. The ensemble was bought by journalist Inês Duque Estrada to Hildegard Angel after her mother’s death.

Clothes description:
A-line skirt with black background and a printed pattern of flower bouquet in white, light blue, dark blue, light red, orange and dark gray. The skirt has four cutouts, zipper closing on the back with a black polyester zipper and a metal latch. The hem seam finishing was made in overlock stitching with a straight seam. Sewn on the sides, there are two yellow cotton straps. The circumference of the waist is 0, 68 cm and the hem’s width is 1, 42 m. donated by journalist Inês Duque Estrada.

Description of complementary clothes:
Short sleeve blouse, fitted to the waist, with a black background and a printed pattern of flower bouquet in white, light blue, dark blue, light red, orange and dark gray. There as two kinds of fabric on the piece: printed cotton and plain black. The front has side cutouts on the printed cotton and double drape. The round cleavage has a thin taping ribbon in black satin. There is a buttoning on the front with 12 round black plastic buttons with satin straps buttonholes closing. The blouse’s hem has a slight frill. The sleeves are puffy and have folded hems with the same button on the front and the left sleeve has a tag. The sleeves are 26 cm long and 19 cm wide.
